Kyle Barnes is a Partner at The Teer Group, leading Brand & Growth Strategy. He advises CMOs, athletic directors, and executive leadership teams on building enterprise brand systems that accelerate growth, strengthen reputation, and unify creative governance across complex, multi-market organizations. With more than 15 years of executive creative leadership, Kyle operates at the intersection of brand architecture, campaign strategy, and scalable creative operations. He partners with organizations navigating expansion, transformation, and market repositioning—ensuring brand functions not as a collection of campaigns, but as a disciplined growth platform embedded within enterprise strategy. Kyle has led large-scale brand systems and high-performing creative teams across sports, entertainment, healthcare, government, and corporate sectors. As Director of Design for Michigan State University Athletics, he oversaw identity and campaign strategy for nationally ranked Power Five programs, elevating national visibility, strengthening recruitment platforms, and producing broadcast assets featured on ESPN and Big Ten Network. He contributed to the advancement of the nationally recognized Pure Michigan campaign, reinforcing cross-agency brand governance and increasing statewide engagement. As Chief Creative Officer of Motormouth Multimedia, he has led brand transformation initiatives across healthcare, nonprofit, and corporate clients—improving audience engagement by 25 percent and reducing delivery timelines by 30 percent through scalable creative systems and operational modernization. His broader portfolio includes national television campaigns for Stellar TV and culturally resonant brand work for Nike, Jack Daniel’s partnership with Uncle Nearest Spirits, National Football League, Major League Baseball, NAACP, Congressional Black Caucus, and City of Chicago. Across engagements, Kyle is known for simplifying brand challenges, and building governance-driven ecosystems that perform across digital, broadcast, and community touchpoints. A native of Detroit, Michigan - Kyle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising with a minor in Graphic Design from Michigan State University. He has served in various leadership capacities within Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, reflecting his commitment to service, mentorship, and principled leadership.
